Thermowood timber cladding

Thermowood cladding gives the cabin a warm, natural appearance that complements the surrounding garden.

The timber is selected for its durability, stability and relatively low maintenance requirements. If left untreated, Thermowood gradually develops an attractive silver-grey appearance as it ages.

Matte-black steel cladding

The rear and side elevations are finished with matte-black steel sheeting.

These elevations are positioned more discreetly, allowing the natural timber to remain the main visual feature while the steel provides a durable and contemporary finish elsewhere on the building.

Combining different materials in this way can provide an attractive balance between appearance, practicality and long-term maintenance.
